Colfax HS Soccer Logo and Mascot 2022

I was asked to design a soccer crest for Colfax High School's uniforms. The art brief was to make it heraldic and incorporate visual elements of soccer, railroad, ponderosa pines, and the falcon. In addition they wanted a nose art style character for merchandise. I wanted to design true peregrine falcon sports art since so many birds of prey are visibly interchangeable as hawks, falcons, or eagles. You'll also see that when I design logos for people I make sure they get full color, 1 color and various other imprint color options to eliminate guesswork when outsourcing for silk screening or embroidery.
